The Immeasurable

This is a speed painting I did. I is based on a sketch I did years ago. I kept thinking of the environment as being similar to that of the world in "The Immeasurable Horror" by Clark Ashton Smith. It is overly lush and super dangerous. It is as deadly as it is beautiful. Our settler here has the classic cowboy mentality. He will try to tame the land with his guns and fences.
